Tips Singkat Teknologi Informasi di KISS FM, 95.1 Jakarta

Bagi kita yang melakukan browsing di internet, seharusnya mengetahui alamat atau URL/URI dari sebuah situs yang akan kita kunjungi, begitu juga halnya jika kita ingin mengirimkan email. Sebagai contoh kita akan melihat berita di detik, kita mencantumkan detik.com atau www.detik.com di browser yang kita gunakan. Begitu juga jika kita ingin mengirimkan email ke seseorang yang misalnya beralamat di sibadu[at]pacific.net.id.

VRT Certified Rules Update 2007-07-12
The Sourcefire VRT is aware of vulnerabilities affecting hosts using Microsoft Windows Active Directory and Microsoft Excel.
Details:
Microsoft Security Bulletin MS07-039:
A heap overflow vulnerability exists in the way Microsoft Windows Active Directory handles LDAP messages. The vulnerability is due to a lack of convertible attributes validation in client LDAP request messages. Remote unauthenticated attackers can exploit this vulnerability to inject and execute arbitrary code on the affected target with System level privileges.
A rule to detect attacks targeting this vulnerability is included in this release and is identified as SID 12069.

Seringkali kita mendapatkan masalah pada server hosting sementara kita tidak mungkin setiap saat meminta bantuan dukungan teknis dari penyedia hosting tsb. Misalnya kita ingin mengubah path session sesuai keinginan kita, mengubah batasan besarnya file yang bisa di upload, mengubah port standar smtp, dll/
Problem keterbatasan akses bagi pengembang situs web untuk melakukan modifikasi konfigurasi standar khususnya konfigurasi php pada server yang disediakan oleh perusahaan penyedia jasa hosting dapat diminimalisir. Berikut ini tips singkat yang dapat saya uraikan berdasarkan pengalaman yang ada, yaitu menggunakan file .htaccess.
