This SEU provides a new "specific-threats" rules category, a new rules
importer, a new "Microsoft Vulnerabilities" rule grouping method and an
updated detection engine. Details: The Sourcefire VRT has added a new rules category named "specific-threats" that is designed to give specific event information when activity relating to known worms is identified in network data. Also included in this release:
